Port Primorsk

The port Primorsk is the main oil port of Russia, it is located in the Bierksund strait with depth almost 20 m that allows accepting vessels with up to 150 000 tons displacement. The general length of berths makes 2035 m with an opportunity of further widening to up to 3635 m. The port provides all-the-year-round operation.The port of Primorsk cargo turnover increased within the first 10 months of 2009 by 5.5% (65.9 million tons)
Federal trainings on removal of accidental oil spillage are carried out in the port of Primorsk every year. KONTUR SPb became the one of active participants of the given action for the last few years. In particular, tanker Smolyj belonging the Company is to be involved in trainings. Besides, since 2003 to present time vessels of KONTUR keep ecological watch in the port of Primorsk all the year round.
