The company has its own professional accident rescue group certified by the Central Certifying Commission of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation to have the right to locate and eliminate oil products spillage in the Big port of St.-Petersburg and the port of Ust-Luga.
Services rendered by this group are widely in demand. The company also provides all-inclusive ecological service of ships under the licence for carrying out waste collection, transportation, utilization, neutralization, and disposal.
Ecological activity of Baltic Fuel Company is approved by the Ministry of the Russian Federation of Civil Defence Affairs, Emergencies, and Liquidation of Consequences of natural disasters and the Department of Natural Resources in the Northwest region. Due to the package of licences and it's own fleet the Company is able to get away with regional oil spillage scale, volume of which extends from 500 to 5 000 tons.
The ecological fleet of the Company in port of St.-Petersburg is in constant readiness. All vessels are equipped with slick bars and a drying agent manufactured by Laboratory of protective technologies in Vsevolozhsk.
